St. Petersburg, Fl. Exhibit "Popping Palm Seed Pod" to open 8 August at the Downtown Starbucks, located in the Baywalk Area – Corner of 2nd  Street North  and 1st Ave North. Or view online! Exhibits ends 15 September 2008.

This work of contemporary art POPS and reminds you of the sixties pop art movement. The title is derived from the base image, palm's seed pod. On Florida's Suncoast, the seed pods turn a vibrant orange in July.

The Contemporary Art accentuates the original image’s hues and tonal properties to create an energy that draws the mind into the work. The Suncoast area of Florida was the inspiration for the Suncoast Natural Patterns. In additions there will be one additional natural pattern from Sorrento and two Suncoast photographs: Singer-Songwriter Lani Daniels and Sunglasses at Sunset which is in front of The Don CeSar.
