Your mere presence inspires seduction
A craft for which I am well known
That has caused me to be watched, admired and resented
My art has been unwittingly purchased by many a soul
Without knowing they have paid me in-kind
I walk away a richer man but not as materially rich as they are now
My skill unleashes their hearts and souls
Unmasking their inner inhibitions
All for the price of a conversation, a walk or a dance in bed
This craft comes naturally
Copied by many but mastered by none
Yet such a simple task for me to give
Such pride I take in my craft
Each person is unique
Yet wants and needs are so similar
The key is in the speed of the wheel I use
Another troubled soul must be free
I am an artist - this is my craft
My work allows the soul to break free of the mold that binds the psyche
We are so predictable
Life so fragile to touch
So my hands work the mold
To remove the inhibitions that corral them
I mold the clay with care
My fingers are so sensitive
No detail is overlooked
Seeking perfection is part of my art
I strive to deliver satisfaction
Yet I am unable to find such sweet relief for myself
A curse laid by my surroundings
A victim of my own doing
I am bound to the wheel
My foot cannot stop pumping the peddle
A curse from which I cannot find relief
Because the muse is tired and is in need of my support
Thus her hands guide me
So she can one day relinquish her life of servitude to me
