There is no gift That I may give forever But my words bound in this book This is my craft Written by my hand Wrapped by my heart Given to you - naked and exposed Use your heart to unwrap my gift Press your lips against my craft Feel my sweat moisten your flesh Now taste the inspiration I have found in you Know the thoughts I have written Are not found in the heart But a place much deeper This is the very essence of my being Where my love of life is cherished A place you now walk Open my gift with your fingers Gently turn my pages Be content to know You are the one who moves my pen ~ Robert Neff � �	Volume 1 — Private Reflections. Our values are based upon our perspective and experiences. When I returned home to lend moral support, I transitioned from the “rat race” to a much slower and distinct pace. This proved to be the fuel needed to explore and understand my experiences and perspective. This transition allowed me to refocus my values. Thus, Private Reflections provides an insight into how my life has been shaped and insights into why I am driven to write.
